About me

Hello I’m Colwyn, I look forward to supporting you with your home practice.

I have found yoga to be a consistent source of support for more than 30 years now, and over this time my practice has shifted and adapted to suit my changing needs.

With each life chapter I found myself going deeper into my practice and further into my studies. I have completed well over 1000 hours of training, including prenatal, postnatal and menopause yoga, somatics, stress burnout & fatigue conditions, trauma-informed approaches, yoga nidra and yoga philosophy.

Studying yoga therapy somehow brought it all together. That's when I really understood that what these practices offer is a framework for living, a real-time map for understanding yourself from the inside out, so that you can move through life with greater steadiness, ease and joy.

What you'll find in Home Practice isn't just theoretical. It's been lived, tested, and refined through decades of my own experience - and through working with clients navigating exactly what you might be navigating now.

And my commitment, always, is to meet you where you are - with honesty, with warmth, and with practices that genuinely work.

Thank you for being here.

My Method

MOVE | BREATH | REST | CONNECT | PLAY

A whole health approach - supported by science, grounded in yoga philosophy, intrinsically human.

Move with freedom & ease

Somatic movement practices help release tension, ease pain and improve posture, by unlearning held patterns in the body.

Befriend your nervous system

Learn to listen to your breath, interpret your breathing patterns and introduce specific techniques when needed.

Build resilience

Intentional rest enables the nervous system to rejuvenate - improving sleep, cognitive function and creativity.

Act with clarity

Drop beneath the mental chatter, connect with your internal wisdom and learn to respond with discernment vs reaction.

Expand your world

Replace rules with choice, creativity and exploration - practicing playful curiosity makes space to grow.
